The Orchestra (For Now) at Botanique (18.04.26)

Over the past two years, The Orchestra (For Now) have experienced a meteoric rise worthy of their boldest dreams. Before even releasing an official single, the band were already commanding the main stage at Green Man Festival, appearing at End Of The Road, and selling out headline shows of their own. Forged on London’s fiercely competitive live circuit, their music quickly became an unmissable word-of-mouth phenomenon. Early 2025 marked a turning point with the release of their debut EP Plan 75, a maximalist statement of intent they describe as “London prog” — fusing avant-garde rock theatricality, classical dialogue, pastoral baroque indie, post-hardcore dynamics and flashes of jazz. The record drew widespread acclaim from outlets including NME and Rolling Stone, culminating in a sold-out EP launch show at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts.

That momentum only intensified with Plan 76, released the following autumn, pushing their expansive vision even further. The compositions remain unpredictable yet threaded with irresistible melodies, while humour and pop culture references unfold within a more self-assured sonic framework — the early fragility now transformed into confident musical boldness. This electrifying energy is set to take over the stage at Le Botanique in Brussels, promising a performance as daring as it is unifying from a band clearly poised to leave a lasting mark.
