US psychedelic rock legends Dead Meadow return with Foundlings, a seven-track collection of rare and previously unreleased recordings spanning more than two decades. Drawn from sessions between 2002 and 2024, the album showcases the band's signature blend of crushing riffs, dreamy atmospheres and hypnotic grooves, while tracing their musical evolution through originals, outtakes and carefully chosen cover versions.
Featuring guitarist/vocalist Jason Simon, late bassist and founding member Steve Kille, and drummers Mark Laughlin and Stephen McCarty, Foundlings also serves as a heartfelt tribute to Kille, who passed away in 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Including interpretations of songs by Powell St. John, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin alongside previously unheard material, the collection is an essential release for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
