White Canyon & The 5th Dimension is a musical project that explores psychedelic soundscapes, blending the influence of 1960s and 70s experimental rock with modern textures and dense atmospheres. Through layers of synths, expansive guitars, and cinematic arrangements, the project creates immersive sonic experiences. Its aesthetic draws on mysticism, occult symbolism, and the psychedelic imagination, building a distinct universe around each release while moving between psychedelic rock, space rock, and atmospheric experimentation.
With “IV”, its fourth studio album, the project enters a deeper and more refined creative phase. Across eight tracks, the record expands a language the band has been shaping since its 2019 debut, moving through psychedelia, drone, shoegaze, and post-punk. Structured around the four elements—earth, water, fire, and air—the album unfolds as an immersive and almost ritualistic journey, balancing dualities such as light and shadow, noise and silence. Recorded independently in Brazil and fully produced by the band, “IV” stands out for its strong artistic identity, depth, and aesthetic coherence.
