Astrology Now - Lazervisionz

Astrology Now’s Lazervisionz is a hazy, psychedelic rock journey that blends vintage psych-pop sensibilities with fuzz-heavy guitars, dreamy textures, and a distinctly DIY spirit. Across its 11 tracks, the album moves between melodic passages and more atmospheric, slightly surreal moments, creating a sound that feels both rooted in the late ’60s and ’70s and filtered through a contemporary indie-rock aesthetic. Songs such as “Letting Go,” “Rain,” “The Light,” and “Frozen” contribute to an immersive, shifting mood that rewards listeners who enjoy records built around texture and atmosphere as much as traditional songcraft.

The project began as a bedroom recording experiment led by Greg Mastrean and gradually expanded into a full band, with Nate Campisi on bass, Gordy Brash on drums, and Matt Turcsanyi on guitar. That evolution gives Lazervisionz a balance between intimate home-recording character and the fuller presence of a live group. From the more reflective feel of “Waiting” and “Flowers” to the stranger, more playful territory of “Ghost Face Boogie” and “Holy Bus,” Astrology Now keeps the album unpredictable without losing its psychedelic thread.
