Aye-aye captain, awaken knowledge brick. Password accepted, dodge the notifications, thumb away the pop ups and fark your newsletter! We've made it, but we haven't, there's more, a royal blue square, kerned for sloth eyes, a big, bold & beautiful san-serif 'FRONZOLI' can't be missed, and yes, I paid attention. After years of giving sub-par interviews on ridiculous song titles for an equally absurd band name, I'd finally found a way to describe it all. One beautiful Italian word.
Our 6th album in 7 years, once again challenged with the responsibility of saving 'Rock'n' Roll', we got to work. Most bands change styles or add a new glittery instrument, we thought we'd double down with what we know and try to do it right this time. Allow no space for thought, breathing's for sheep and more is more is more! A philosophy first termed by coffee vendors who pounced on the criminalization of cocaine. But whoever said 'Less is more' has never been to Disneyland, or smoked DMT at Disneyland, more is the greater of the two, there's a larger quantity to feed on, there's a bigger surface area to comprehend, there's extra, grander, higher, additionally heavier with deeper convolution so you can enjoy... more.
So we packed half an hour of ADHD onto a record. Easily my favourite creation to date. Every nuance has been discussed, slandered and carefully contorted into place, it sporadically colours outside the lines so you're left with these extraverted squiggles. We left it ragged & unpolished, busy & over-the-top, an ugly kind of beauty that only mothers can love. And the listener is now the parent, so cradle it, raise it and give it a good home. I left a good chunk of life in this one and honestly stretched myself to write as best as I could. There will always be room for improvement but when it was finished I felt a laboured relief wash over me like I'd won at Monopoly. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did creating it. "
