Goblyns - Three Sisters

Goblyns seamlessly fuse funk, soul, power, and psychedelic grooves into a vibrant and dynamic soundscape. The trio, formed by South African brothers Liam and Francis Broek along with their longtime friend Giovanni Votano, channels their passion for music into mostly instrumental tracks that pulse with life and joy. Their compositions are driven by the expressive energy of their instruments, creating a raw and authentic sound that transcends genre limitations and speaks directly to the soul.

Deeply inspired by eclectic acts such as Kikagaku Moyo, The Meters, Khruangbin, W.I.T.C.H., and CAN, Goblyns have crafted a sonic identity that is both rooted in musical heritage and boldly innovative. Their songs echo the rhythmic complexity of funk and the expansive freedom of psychedelic rock while maintaining a soulful core. This fusion results in an unmistakable sound that evokes both nostalgia and novelty, drawing listeners into a rich and unpredictable musical journey.

What sets Goblyns apart is their ability to create music that feels alive—organic, fluid, and ever-evolving. Their genre-defying approach allows them to experiment freely, layering textures and rhythms to build immersive soundscapes that captivate and transport. Whether on stage or in the studio, the trio’s chemistry and shared vision shine through, making every performance a celebration of creative freedom and emotional expression.
