Multi-dimensional songwriter, musician, and storyteller, Rykarda Parasol weaves poetic imagery with cinematic sounds seeped in vintage folk-pop, psych, and alternative rock.
The long-awaited new album by Parasol answers the question posed in “The Color of Destruction”, her previous record: “On Tuesday Morning where will I be?” Well, if the artwork is any indication, it would seem that Parasol has evolved towards a more colorful spot, yet still evokes the same timeless nature as her earlier work that held a shadowy cool chicness. With 60s-inspired harmonies and beats, “Tuesday Morning” offers up hints of Gainsbourg and the Velvet Underground while thematically touching upon her personal evolution.
