Following their 2023 debut album Aura and extensive touring across Mexico, the UK and Europe, Mirror Revelations arrive at a new creative peak with their second full-length release and first for Fuzz Club. Entirely written, recorded and produced by the band, Ígnea embraces a darker, rawer and more hedonistic direction while retaining the motorik, krautrock and psych foundations that defined its predecessor.
Adopting a “less is more” philosophy, the trio reduced the instrumentation to better capture the power and immediacy of their live performances, while exploring new rhythms that place repetition and intensity at the forefront. Lyrically, the album shifts away from the dreamlike and spiritual themes of Aura, instead confronting themes of resistance, oppression and inner awakening, reflecting the growing concerns and realities of everyday life.
