Sun Atoms - Everything Forever

Sun Atoms’ sophomore magnum opus “Everything Forever” was mixed in one of the greatest marvels of prehistoric Britain at Avebury Henge in Jagz Kooner's Stone Circles Studios. The album includes incredible cameos from Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock, Brooklyn’s Jasno Swarez of The Vandelles, and Los Angeles’ Lauren Andino of Tremours, amongst other luminaries. This second offering of songs realizes the promise that was there in the debut not only musically, but in a sacred sense. This album gets between the ears, then heads south down past the brain and into the heart. The LP’s initial single, Ceiling Tiles, drew praise from NYC’s The Big Takeover magazine saying, “The music is a taste of the future. It may draw together recognizable gothic grooves and hushed tones, brooding bass lines and guitars that ebb and flow between abrasive salvos and chiming beauty, but, as always, it is the resulting sonic architecture rather than the building blocks themselves that are the whole point. The resultant song is a beautiful vision of a future for alternative music with all the bombast and bravado, volume and velocity, pose and ego stripped away.”

The production is world class. Mix engineer Jagz Kooner and producer/bassist Peter G. Homström (The Dandy Warhols, PIA) were fresh off of making The Dandy Warhols latest album in which they generated an extraordinary symbiosis. Jagz has been credited with creating some of the most genre defining songs of the last 30 Years. He began his career working with Andrew Weatherall remixing and producing for the likes of Bjork, New Order & The Chemical Brothers. Sun Atoms were absolutely thrilled to get to work with such a legend that had mixed Primal Scream, Massive Attack, Oasis, Killing Joke, and Garbage. With Jagz mixing and Pete producing, the pair elevated the songs in the production process by pushing the sonic envelope out into the great abyss. The coup de grace was having Keith Tenniswood (Spiritualized, Death in Vegas) master the album at Curve Pusher UK.
