Musik von Harmonia is the debut album from the influential German krautrock group Harmonia, released in January 1974 by Brain Records. The group was formed when Neu! guitarist Michael Rother joined forces with Cluster, comprising Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius. They recorded the album from June to November 1973 at Cluster's Forst recording studio, creating a unique blend of electronic and experimental sounds. The production process was entirely managed by the band, who relied on a primitive mixer and just three tape recorders to capture their groundbreaking music. Despite the limited equipment, the album remains a seminal work in the krautrock genre, illustrating the innovative spirit and creativity that defined the era.
