This ain’t your grandparents’ Eggman! Twisting Bowie’s “Fame” plaint into a shout of disgust – “Eggs!” – Ty’s gonzo nightmare outsicks the late white duke’s visions. A relentless pounding beat with subtle downshifts to the tempo in spots evokes queasy, staggering horror, further heightened with rust-spewing serrated leads. Eventually the vocals and rhythm are cut loose and spiral into space, to be eaten alive by droning maggots of guitar noise.
