For Bandcamp Friday, Texas-born outfit Night Beats are releasing a new EP comprised of stripped-back acoustic renditions of select tracks from this year's 'Outlaw R&B' LP (Fuzz Club Records). Talking about the EP, Night Beats' Danny Lee Blackwell said: "I used to always search out alternate versions of songs from my favorite albums, such as rare Arthur Lee, Roky Erickson, Wanda Jackson takes. It was like finding hidden levels on your favorite game or a new chapter in a book you already loved. I wanted to make sure there were alternate versions of my songs for people to find and enjoy."
